RDW reduces fuel consumption by 8% and claims by 20%
e-Driver has helped the Netherlands Vehicle Authority (RDW) reduce damage claims by 20 per cent and fuel consumption by 8 per cent. The RDW has therefore been awarded the Driving Safely and Sustainably quality mark. This official CSR quality mark demonstrates that the procedures the RDW has adopted and implemented have contributed to road safety and sustainability.

Why did RDW choose e-Driver?
The RDW wants to ensure that its employees arrive home safely after a day’s work. The organisation is also committed to reducing its carbon footprint. Employees have access to a personal platform where they can watch a new interactive training video on driving safely and sustainably every six weeks. By using e-Driver, the RDW is demonstrating its commitment to safety and sustainability.

Insight into driving safely and efficiently
The RDW is the first Dutch organisation to be awarded the level 3 Driving Safely and Sustainably quality mark. Former National Traffic Officer Koos Spee presented Ab van Ravestein, RDW’s managing director, with the accreditation. The RDW was also awarded the level 2 Driving Safely and Sustainably quality mark for employees without company lease cars.
Organisations that qualify for this official CSR quality mark have demonstrated tangible improvements in sustainable and safe mobility. It indicates that the procedures adopted and implemented by these organisations have contributed to road safety and sustainability.
‘By using e-Driver, the RDW is demonstrating its commitment to safety and sustainability.’
